Committees
One of my favorite things about being on the school board is the committee work I have had the privilege of doing. By delegating tasks to committees, the school board can conduct research, hold discussions, and develop recommendations before presenting them to the full board. Committee work encourages collaboration between board members and various stakeholders. I believe that building relationships and focusing on continuous improvement in a variety of areas within the district leads to stronger schools. It goes without saying that I love spending time with my family. We go on walks, watch hockey, and hang out with our fun family friends together. I also enjoy reading, doing Pilates, and playing tennis.
